Introducing the Ouray Quilt, a mesmerizing reflection of the San Juan Mountains' majesty. This quilt captivates with its abstract depiction of a sunset cascading over mountains in shades of yellow, orange, and midnight blue. Expertly handcrafted, each quilt marries the traditional arts of hand-block printing and Kantha stitching, performed by skilled artisans using 100% cotton. The quilt's reverse side features a minimalist design of a yellow circle complemented by blue stripes, offering a striking contrast and versatility in styling. Made with care and precision, the Ouray Quilt stands as a testament to both natural beauty and artisanal craftsmanship.

The design is hand-pressed onto each quilt using hand-carved wooden blocks dipped in dyes. The printed cotton shells are brought to the homes of quiltmakers, who stuff and stitch the quilts by hand, creating the final product.

Our quilts are made in small batches. Due to the handcrafted nature of this item, expect slight variations in the appearance of each unique piece.

Simply Gorgeous

I love this quilt! It’s positively stunning and brightens up my bedroom. It’s light, but still warming and has been perfect for a Texas summer with intense AC. I highly recommend CQC and will purchase a 2nd quilt soon.

The Art of Hand-Block Printing

Our quilts are hand-block printed by artisans in Jaipur, India. Using hand-carved wooden blocks and vibrant dyes, each piece is carefully stamped by hand to create intricate, unique designs. This traditional craft has been passed down for generations, and we are proud to preserve its artistry in every quilt we make.
