Our Ouray pillow sham is made from 100% cotton and features a striking hand-block printed design. The pattern includes a sun over mountains in shades of yellow, orange, and blue. Each pillow sham is handmade, requiring attention from 4 artisans, including wood-block carvers, hand-printers, sewists, and dye specialists.

The design is hand-pressed onto each sham using hand-carved wooden blocks dipped in dyes. Our shams are made in small batches. Due to the handcrafted nature of this item, expect slight variations in the appearance of each unique piece. This piece combines modern design with traditional craftsmanship created by skilled artisans.

Brought a Ray of LIght to our Bedroom

I have been searching for months and months for the right bedding and have come up disappointed time and again. FINALLY CQC LA popped into my feed and I finally found something beautiful, unique and comes with a backstory of artistry and charity. We could have chosen any of the gorgeous quilts on this website but the Ouray pattern brings color and vibrancy in a world of neutrals.

Printed by Hand, Not by Machine

Each quilt begins with hand-carved wooden blocks, shaped by skilled artisans in Jaipur, India. The designs are pressed onto cotton by hand, one layer of color at a time, using traditional dyes and centuries-old techniques. Slight variations are not flaws, but signatures—evidence of the human hand behind every piece. This is slow, deliberate craft, preserved through generations.

Nourishing Lives with Every Purchase

More than just a home decor and clothing company, CQC LA is committed to fighting child hunger in India. For every quilt or clothing item purchased, we partner with the Akshaya Patra Foundation, providing a meal to a child in need for one month. This partnership is aiding in feeding 2.8 million children in India daily, making strides towards a future free from child hunger.
