Each quilt is crafted by a team of skilled artisans in India, with every stage of production handled by a different specialist—from the woodblock carvers who create the printing tools, to the block printers, dye mixers, and quiltmakers who bring the final piece together.

The design features a repeating floral motif formed by orange blossoms and green vines arranged in a structured lattice. One side is printed on a rich turquoise blue base, while the reverse presents the same pattern on a lighter natural background. The design is hand-pressed onto each quilt using hand-carved wooden blocks dipped in dyes. Once printed, the cotton shells are brought to the homes of quiltmakers, who stuff and stitch the quilts by hand to create the final product.

Our quilts are produced in small batches using techniques passed down through generations. Because each one is made by hand, subtle variations in color and pattern are natural and help ensure that every quilt is truly one of a kind.

Printed by Hand, Not by Machine

Each quilt begins with hand-carved wooden blocks, shaped by skilled artisans in Jaipur, India. The designs are pressed onto cotton by hand, one layer of color at a time, using traditional dyes and centuries-old techniques. Slight variations are not flaws, but signatures—evidence of the human hand behind every piece. This is slow, deliberate craft, preserved through generations.
